Benefits
- Nutrient data provided ( Relatively low N, P, K content ) but its value as an biological fertilizer should not only be estimeted from the content of these elements but mainly from the degree of availability of all its nutrients to the plants. Also contains some other elements such as Mg, Na, S, as well as some microelements that are hardly found in inorganic fertilizers but play an important role in plant nourishment
- Τhe nitrogen contained in it is slow release ( as in all organic ) , does not exist in toxic concentrations, is not lost by leaching
- It has a positive effect on the physical-chemical and biological properties of the soil such as : soil aeration, water-resistance, permeability, structure
- It increases the amount of organic substance in the soil
- It increases root growth rate and density of roots
- It increases the CEC ( cation exchange capacity ).
- It creates a more stable pH.
- It chelates trace elements.
- It increases micro-macro nutrients activity as well as microflora
- It enriches the soil with microorganisms
- it influences the metabolic processes of plants such as : brething, photosynthesis, Sugar distribution, protein synthesis
